For many families supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), the quality of care depends not only on love and dedication, but on the systems, providers, and professionals involved every day. That’s why we’re proud to spotlight our partnership with [The True Professional (TTP)](https://www.thetrueprofessional.org/), a nonprofit focused on improving the quality of services delivered to adults with IDD. Together, Eleplan and TTP are helping strengthen both sides of the caregiving experience, the people delivering care and the families navigating it. **About The True Professional** [The True Professional (TTP)](https://www.thetrueprofessional.org/) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Founded with a vision rooted in real family experience, TTP was inspired by the journey of parents seeking the highest standard of care for their son. Through years of research and collaboration, they identified a critical gap: while many providers are deeply committed, systemic challenges often make it difficult to consistently deliver the level of care individuals deserve. TTP addresses this by equipping residential providers with professional development, consulting, and a structured framework for excellence. At the core of their work is the 5Cs™ framework: - Client-Centered - Continuous Engagement - Communication - Collaboration - Comportment This approach emphasizes not just compliance, but relationships, accountability, and a higher standard of service delivery that supports dignity, independence, and meaningful life experiences. **How TTP Supports Caregivers** TTP strengthens caregiving by focusing on the professionals behind it.
